Meet the Team

We would like to welcome you to the Aldeburgh and Framlingham Dental Practices and thank you for choosing us as your partner for oral and dental health care. Our philosophy is Total Dedication to Quality Dental Health Care. Paul qualified from Guys Hospital at the University of London in 1990. Highly commended by the BUPA quality assurance program, he joined Aldeburgh Dental Practice as principal in 1997. Cheryl qualified from The Eastman Dental Hospital London in 1998, where she joined Paul at the Aldeburgh Dental Practice working as locum hygienist / practice book keeper.

In 2005 Paul acquired the Framlingham Dental Practice. Both practices have developed considerably, expanding to multiple state of the art treatment and sterilisation rooms. The two practices work closely together and patients have the freedom to attend either site.

 

Both practices combine the very best of established techniques and procedures with the latest technological advances in equipment and materials. Our aim is to offer you all the benefits of modern pain free dentistry.

Paul Brown

Paul Brown the principal dentist and practice owner routinely carries out very successful complex treatment plans beyond what would be expected in many other High Street dental practices. These include high quality dental cosmetic enhancements using the latest crown techniques and where necessary the placement of dental implants.

Izak Hoffman

Izak qualified in Universidad Europea de Madrid in 2021 because he fancied an adventure after qualifying from Biomedical Science. In Izaks spare time he enjoys horseriding and camping. Izak works at both our Aldeburgh and Framlingham practices.

Rishi Patel

He comes with hidden talents as prior to qualifying as a dentist Rishi worked as an IT manager for the NHS. Rishi is a versatile clinician offering general dentistry. He has a very approachable and relaxing demeanour which is favoured by nervous patients and children. He is well known to the practice having worked in Framlingham as a locum over several years. Outside of dentistry he is a hands on dad to his young daughter and enjoys football and cricket.

 

Mohammed Ali

I was born and have spent most of my life in Suffolk. 

I am dedicated to my profession and make it my mission to pursue excellence in dental care. This means I work hard to ensure that my patients are dentally healthy, can eat with ease and confidence, and have a smile they are happy with. 
 
My goal is to make every visit a positive and reassuring experience. I understand the importance of listening to and addressing your needs. 
 
I qualified in Dentistry at King’s College London and, before this, studied Pharmacy at University College London. This dual background has allowed me to become a better clinician. 
 
I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of general dentistry and am currently furthering my expertise in the subspecialty of Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment) by pursuing a Masters level training at Queen Mary’s London. 
 
Outside of my professional life, I’m a keen traveller. I always look forward to exploring new cities, histories, and cultures, which enriches my perspective of the world. 

Dr. Mark Davis

 
Dr. Mark Davis is a highly experienced dentist with a strong background in both general dentistry and specialized fields. He qualified in 1984 from The Royal London Hospital and initially worked in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department. After returning to Suffolk, he practiced as a general dentist for 35 years, during which time he expanded his expertise with advanced training.
Dr. Mark pursued a 5-year Master’s in Clinical Dentistry prosthodontics at King’s College, London, and completed a 3-year Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute (UCL), London. He has developed a special interest in prosthodontics, including implants, crowns, bridges, and dentures, as well as advanced endodontics (root canal treatments), with a focus on microscopic, ultrasonic, and rotary techniques.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Davis has contributed to dental education for over 20 years, training newly qualified dentists through the Ipswich Foundation Dentist Programme and teaching prosthodontics at Ipswich and Norwich Hospitals.
His qualifications include:

Dr. Davis extensive training and years of experience make him a skilled professional in both restorative dentistry and endodontics, as well as a dedicated educator in the field.

Ally Fielding-O’Farrell

Practice Manager

Ally joined the practices back in April 2018 as a receptionist but expressed how she’d like to become a Dental Nurse with the view to progress. Ally qualified in February 2020 and found the confidence to push herself to do more. In October 2021 Ally was promoted as Practice Manager for both the Aldeburgh and Framlingham sites. Ally has two children, Ralph and Marnie and enjoys supporting them in their sports, horse riding and rugby. In Ally’s spare time she enjoys seeing her friends and family and keeping fit.

Kate Murkowski

Kate first started in dentistry in 1987 on a YTS program in Colchester as a trainee dental nurse. She then went onto train as a dental nurse at college in 1989. In 1991 she went on to train as an oral health educator. Kate has also trained as an implant nurse. Kate has worked alongside assisting lots of cosmetic work and full mouth make overs. Kate enjoys spending time with her family, taking her dogs for walks and knitting and crocheting for various charities.

Cheryl Brown

Cheryl looks after her patients in both Aldeburgh and Framlingham.
She has a gentle and caring approach much appreciated by her loyal patients.
Cheryl has vast experience being part of the team for over 19 years.
She uses the latest, state of art precision ultra sonic tools – but will also hand scale with incredible dexterity for nervous patients.

Rachel Barnes

I’m a graduate from The University of Essex. I previously worked as a dental nurse for many years before progressing my career in dentistry as a dental hygienist.  I have a keen interest in nutrition and its effects on oral and general health and I enjoy helping you to improve your smile.  When I am not doing that I enjoy showing my dogs, riding my horse, going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.

 

Katlyn Taylor

Katlyn started with us in January 2021 as a receptionist whilst completing her degree in Law and Criminology. After Katlyn started, she soon realised she wanted to become a Dental Nurse and didn’t waste any time in enrolling onto the Dental Nurse course. Katlyn in her spare time enjoys, shopping, site seeing and travelling. Katlyn’s also enjoys walks with Lolly her Samoyed rescue dog.

Sadie Anderson

Sadie has been in the dental industry since 2013 when she started her apprenticeship at Colchester institute. She has since gained experience in both NHS and private practices and a wide range of procedures.
n her spare time Sadie enjoys Pilates, working out and going for long walks with her partner and cocker spaniel Leo. 

Ione Scott

Head Receptionist – Framlingham and Aldeburgh

Ione returned to work for us in December 2021 after leaving us in January 2020 to support the hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic as a team leader. Ione is super organised and loves working with the public and supporting our patients and management, there is nothing Ione cannot achieve. 
In Ione’s spare time she enjoys keeping fit at Framlingham’s local boot camp ‘GFT’ and spending time with her loved ones and Skiing. We are so pleased to have Ione back!

Corinna Russell

Trainee Dental Nurse

Corinna has been with the practice since October 2021 and came onboard to progress as a Dental Nurse.
In Corinna’s spare time she enjoys, writing in her journal, and socialising with friends, Corinna’s hobbies include horse riding
and Crochet. Corinna has a lovely dog called Nelson and Saturn the horse!

Christian Fahy

Trainee Dental Nurse

Christian is a very capable and vetted medical profession with years of experience working in one of the busiest operating theatres in the country before moving to Aldeburgh. He enjoys spending time with his Daughter who he adores and enjoys trips to the park with. He also loves to play sport and is involved with local sports clubs within the Aldeburgh area, because being part of the community is a big part of his life. This is a belief he shares with the practice which enables him to give the best care possible.

Jessica Reynolds

Receptionist

Jess joins our team with bundles of experience working in health care, Jess has a kind, compassionate and caring manner, who will help
anyone. We are very excited for Jess’s future with us as she goes on to start her Dental Nurse qualification.

Jess best describes herself as an independent, sociable person – she loves spending time with her friends, eating out, going on holidays abroad with her partner Charlie, as well as having fun with her Nieces and Nephews.

Stephanie Rudge

Stephanie is an experienced dental nurse having started working in dentistry in 2015. She has worked in both an NHS & private practice and enjoys interacting and supporting patients during their visits. Stephanie has joined the Framlingham Dental practice as Head Dental Nurse and will be in charge of the day to day running of our busy surgeries. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and young son, Eddison, seeing friends and baking.

I’m passionate about my work and giving the best advice possible to aid patients’ oral health. 

Away from work I enjoy watching rugby and playing golf. Also cooking and spending time with our dog and pony.

Molly Williams

I recently graduated from university with a music composition and technology degree. In my spare time I enjoy playing the piano, composing score and sound designing. When I’m not immersed in music, love spending time with my family and friends, going on dog walks and travelling.
